£5 off a romantic night in

A movie and a meal make a great night in, don’t they? We’ve teamed up with Just Eat to deliver just that. So, order one of The Big Movie Weekend movies between 11th February and 14th February and you’ll get £5 off any Just Eat takeaway. OK, here’s what you need to do:

Go to Virgin TV’s Movies On Demand and select Big Movie Weekend
Buy a movie and watch the opening bit (we call this a pre-roll) – for your takeaway discount code
Go to just-eat.co.uk/virgin, order your takeaway using your code

I’m still not sure how to get my code…

After you’ve purchased a Big Movie Weekend film, start watching it and you’ll see a short video containing your code to receive your £5 takeaway discount. Made a note of it? Good. Now go to just-eat.co.uk/virgin, enter your postcode and pick a local takeaway. Then, order what you want to eat, enter the discount code and pay using a credit or debit card as you can only get the £5 discount when you make a card payment.

Ordering the movie

I missed the opening bit of my movie so I didn’t see the code for £5 off a Just Eat takeaway. Can I still get it?: Yes. Simply rewind the movie to the start or re-start the movie, and watch the opening bit (we call this a pre-roll) again. The code will be shown throughout the pre-roll so you can’t miss it.
Can I watch a movie that’s not in the Big Movie Weekend selection and still claim the Just Eat discount offer?: No. We’re sorry about that but this offer’s only available on the selected movies in the Big Movie Weekend folder.
Can I claim the offer more than once during the Big Movie Weekend?: UUnfortunately not. This offer’s only available once per household between 11h and 14th February 2011.

Ordering your takeaway

I’m on the Just Eat homepage and don’t know how to order my takeaway. What do I do?: Go to the dedicated Virgin Media page on Just Eat and follow the instructions – the website address is just-eat.co.uk/virgin
My favourite local takeaway is not showing in the Just Eat list. If I order from it, can I still get the discount?: No. We’re sorry about that. The Big Movie Weekend offer is limited to takeaways affiliated with Just Eat. There are lots to choose from so you should be able to find something just as yummy.
My takeaway is late. What do I do?: If your takeaway’s late, give the outlet you ordered it from a call. If they can’t help, you can call the Just Eat customer service line on 0844 243 7777.
I’m not happy with my takeaway. What do I do?: Give the outlet you ordered your takeaway from a call and tell them what’s wrong. If you’re still unhappy, you can call the Just Eat customer service line on 0844 243 7777.
I’m trying to phone the Just Eat call centre and I can’t get through. What do I do?: If you can’t get through on the first attempt, you should keep trying. Just Eat has more staff available at peak times (evenings and weekends) so your call will be answered shortly. Alternatively you can to www.just-eat.co.uk and use the Live Chat function which runs every day 5pm – 11pm
What happens if the Just Eat website goes down?: This is very unlikely to happen as Just Eat has lots of back up systems in place. If it does happen, you can phone the Just Eat customer service line on 0844 243 7777. They’ll send you a £5 voucher that you can use on another day.
I’ve just got my Virgin Media bill and I don’t see a £5 discount for the Big Movie Weekend movie I ordered?: The £5 discount is taken off your Just Eat takeaway order value and not off your Virgin Media bill.
I don’t have an internet connection – how can I still claim the offer?: If you don’t have an internet connection, call the Just Eat customer number on 0844 243 7777 and choose a take-away in your local area that is part of the Just Eat network. Then order your take-away by phone, ask for a dated receipt and then send that receipt along with your name, address and VM customer number to:

£5 discount is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
